ShaQ is very correct! He is 95 pounds of solid Giant Schnauzer, with a "gentle giant" attitude this makes him a wonderful pet and an important member of our family. He is a schnauzer and is protective when he needs to be. He has the best of both worlds, his dual coated topcoat is wiry and has enough furnishings. 1995 A Young American Champion at age of 11 months. We got him at 7 months of age, started showing him at about 8 months every other weekend 1996 ShaQ grows up! He needed some time to grow up before he could be shown as a special. (A Champion Competing against other Champions for Best of Breed). 1997 World Dog Show in Puerto Rico Gets a new Title and 4 "Excellent Ratings from the judges". In World Competition the judge actually give you a list of how your dog rates. 4 Excellents gave us the Title in Puerto Rico When there was Great competition there for the World Dog Show. It was a great experience for us to see the international Champions. We learned a lot about Grooming too. 1998 Received Award of Merit at Nationals It was Tough Competition. A great thing to see. Said to be the largest of Champion Giant Schnauzers in GSCA. Canadian Championship Title Highly respected Judges including the President of the Canadian Kennel Club. We got such wonderful feed back from the judges in Canada. It was a pleasure to go to Canada and show the people were very nice and they liked both our specials. Paper work still pending we will post when we get it. International Championship Title Earning A Reserve BIS and 2 BIS BBX we are proud of our boy! Can you tell? ShaQ Started to be Specialed in September, '98 and still ranked in the top ten for giants in 1998! September is when the Giant Schnauzer Club Of America Starts point tabulations 1999 ShaQ's doing well in the big ring (Working Group Ring). Taking BOBs and Group Placements monthly. #1 Male Giant schnauzer breed as of november! Even though we average 2.5 weekends showing per month. He is a really happy pet. It makes it so special to us that he is being recognized yet still is able to spend all the time with our family and not a professional handler. It makes us very proud of our family because we work together to accomplish this . |
