Sam's not a "TripleCrown" Giant but we found out about him. That he was in a bad situation. Sam was in a bad home and was going to fall into the wrong hands.

 We took it upon ourselves to go and get him, and find him a great new home .

His new owner, often updates me on Sam.  They tell us that they are very happy with him.

"Ole Sam is going great.  What a likeable dog.  He really has a cool personality and is such a happy chap.  He is also quite a mischievous fellow.  He was doing what is commonly called counter cruising. Something you have to watch for since the Giant's head is at level of the counter.

He loves to cuddle in the evening.  Comes over for a body hug most nights so I sit in the floor with him for a little bonding. I can see why ShaQ and Sam would make good therapy dogs.
 

Oh, and he goes crazy with a flashlight or laser pointer.  I can run him all over the house and into the backyard with my laser level.  Was trying to work on a new deck with the laser level and Sam kept chasing my light. Ran him and circles and all the way to the woods with that light.  Good exercise tool!

Overall, he is doing great.  We have grown very fond of him quickly and can't imagine our house without him.  He is a mess and has been a positive influence on our older female.  She is more active and they get along
great.  Constantly swapping beds and playing chase in the house and back yard."
 

As giant schnauzer breeders and owner of the sire of Sam's litter, we Dennis and Madeline Wilson,  are so pleased by these type of stories. We really enjoy seeing that our dog is passing along these positive traits. ShaQ also loves "flash light tag" very happy friendly dog, he is a therapy dog along with all the wonderful show dog things he did. He was a top dog in his time. Did great as a Champ beating many Champs. World Show experiences and Westminster were great. The best is he is now 11 years old, still going strong, healthy and atheletic. He has given much to our family but also to his pups. Much of his structure and great big show dog attitude. His temperament has been inherited by many many pups he has sired and That also pleases us greatly.
