Now Giant Schnauzer Showing... Soon to retire,

Int.Ch.TripleCrowns Master n Commander ... Nelson

Nelson meets his new best girl Gabby

We Love Nelson, He is a dear Giant Schnauzer.

Nelson won all V1 Excellent ratings earning the International Title.
His temperament is very much like many of ShaQ son's. He can be Sweet and gentle but still all schnauzer in attitude. Nelson is Rough and tumble when it is appropriate but most of his time is spent laying about. He is very hard coated, his head is very big and beautiful. He has a very DEEP full chest and wide front. He is solid muscle. Nelson's dimensions and angles are very correct for breed type. Head Planes parallel. Even though he is Hard Coated He has just enough furnishing to look good. Nelson has a nice full beard and Eye brows like his sire. His coat is so much harder than ShaQ's show coat ever was. Nelson is truly the best of both worlds when it comes to Giant Schnauzer coats because most hard coated dogs are not pleasing to American judges due to lack of furnishings and beards.

Interestingly Nelson looks like a an import only bigger in size than most imports. That seems to be the complaint of most imports. He is larger and heavier than ShaQ was in his prime. Nelson still moves like a working dog. These pictures were taken a day after we acquired him. He was stripped down when we got him. He is wonderful around other dogs, people and tolerant of kids as with most males. Nelson is a very good house dog and companion. Like most Schnauzers He also needs a bold owner to be a strong influence on him. He gets along ok when here with us, is not terrificalyy patient with small kids. IF you are interested in Nelson we would want to speak extensively. He is a good dog, a good example of the breed, would not be good with an intact female as he is WAY too enamoured with girls. That is why he needs a new home soon.
His movement is wonderful. He has wonderful reach and good driving power. He single-tracks easily. It is really a pleasure to watch him. His back is strong, firm, and flat.

ShaQ, a beautiful, strong, OFA Excellent and a healthy Stud. He is now at age 11 (2005)  runs  every day on his doggy tread mill up hill then we go for a fast walk. Has accomplished so much in the show ring over the years and as he is retired is the best house dog I could wish for. He is very sweet but also still protective. He is also a therapy dog.  I love this dog. He is my best friend.

Has had a good number of Champions some BIS winners (Canada & Internationally).

Tara is a lovely giant schnauzer has a very hard German coat with just enough furnishings and beard to look pretty.  She has great angles front and rear.  A deep very & wide chest, solid square body and a lot of bone. She is very healthy ans strong, OFA Good and is very well obedience trained. She has a great head on her shoulders and was one of the biggest factors along with her structure to get pups from her. She has a sweet even temperament. Tara is also Our ESPN’s dam.
